Teams to beat as the season ends
Two teams that just won’t drop out of this list are the San Antonio Spurs and the Detroit Pistons. Surprisingly, as the season began, the Boston Celtics proved everyone wrong as they made quite a convincing run throughout the season to clinch a spot as one of the teams to beat this year.
The Los Angeles Lakers started out really slow but is now on a position where they seem more dangerous than the Spurs. The Cleveland Cavaliers were also in deep waters beginning the season missing the energy of Anderson Varejao, and is now with a Ben Wallace after their blockbuster deal right before the trade deadline. The New Orleans Hornets is also a team to look out for 2nd only to LA in the Western Conference division in terms of team standings, this plus the fact that Chris Paul is the real deal.
